If a nursing home is your home, we’ll be there.
Hospice services can be initiated in most any setting, including a nursing home. Should your journey take you to the hospital or back to your home, the full complement of Hospice services will transition with you.
In this instance, Hospice staff does not take over your care, but rather combines their skills and expertise with facility staff. In this situation, we’ll take the lead in directing symptom management and comfort rather than aggressive treatment. And, we’ll provide emotional and spiritual support regarding end-of-life issues.
