Grief changes everything.
We’ll help you manage the change—and the grief.
When grief enters our lives, our world changes. Grief impacts each individual differently. Just as every loss is unique, the grieving experience is different with each loss. We grieve according to our needs and those needs continually change.
Most of us need information and support to deal with the loss we are experiencing. Our bereavement specialists in the Journeys Program at Hospice of the Red River Valley provide that through support groups, end-of-life education, presentations and individual sessions. Our programming is offered to many audiences:
Families and Individuals

We provide group or individual counseling sessions, literature, resources and referrals as needed.
Schools

We offer classroom presentations, in-school support groups and debriefings.
Workplaces

We offer presentations to employees and consultations to managers of regional businesses to help them deal with grief in the workplace.
Churches

We serve as a referral source for grieving members of any faith community in the region and offer presentations to clergy and lay leaders on grief.
Fees and Program Support

Registration costs and presentation fees vary by program offering. Many programs are provided free of charge to the community and are made possible through the generous donations of past participants or grant funds. For more information, please contact us.
